4 Inmates Stabbed in Jessup Prison
This is depressing:What else is there to say?Four inmates from the maximum-security Jessup Correctional Institution were recovering from stab wounds yesterday after a fight Friday night, the latest in a spate of violent incidents at Maryland prisons.
A union representative for Maryland corrections officers said the attacks show the continued dangers of short staffing, and state corrections officials said they are working to better manage a violent population.
